Centura Wealth Advisory is seeking a Wealth Advisor, Technician (Income Taxation, Estate Taxation) to provide expertise on the state and federal income tax and estate tax implications of various strategies to be evaluated and implemented for new and existing clients. As the Technician (IT, ET), you are at the forefront of client satisfaction through achieving client’s planning goals by evaluating, introducing, discussing and facilitating the implementation of various state and federal taxation mitigation-oriented consulting strategies intended to reduce overall taxation for the firm’s consulting clientele. The firm’s preferred clientele are individuals with $2MM+ of annual income and/or $20MM of invested or investable liquid assets, with a preference for attracting and retaining founder owners of middle market (and larger) privately held businesses.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The key areas of responsibility include:
- Act as the Consulting team subject matter expert on the evaluation, introduction, discussion and implementation of CWA approved consulting strategies.
- Evaluate the suitability of emerging or not previously considered income tax and estate tax mitigation strategies.
- Work side-by-side with other Consulting team members in connection with meeting preparation, deliverable construction, meeting presentation and deliverable presentation.
- Work side-by-side with other Consulting team members in connection with education and coaching regarding Consulting strategies.
- Leverage technology, team, and process to achieve the sales results for the Consulting team.
- Build and maintain his/her/team/firm reputation within community as professional, cutting-edge, and sought-after organization for HNW and UHNW individuals and families.

- Observed expertise in Centura’s consulting strategies for UHNW clients paired with the understanding of how the successful implementation of those strategies impacts and implicates other CWA departments and lines of business.
- Helps achieve team and personal annual plan for new business goals, and tracks/monitors progress towards achieving the goal.
- Follows Centura processes for managing sales pipeline in Salesforce and working within a team of aligned professionals.
- Stays abreast of significant changes or developments (e.g. taxation, regulatory, legal, competitive, and technical) within the fields of investments and financial services; seeks to learn and find new strategies that can benefit the firm’s clients.
- Both presentation and writing skills will be essential.
Licensing & Education:
- Undergraduate degree – Required
- Series 65/6- Required
- Certified Financial Planner “CFP”, JD, LL.M designations – Preferred
- CA Life Insurance License- Preferred
Experience:
- 8+ Years financial advisory experience concentrating upon the evaluation and implementation of income tax and estate tax mitigation strategies - Required
- Familiarity with corporate restructuring and M&A transactions - Preferred
- Proficiency with the following software programs
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, etc.) – Required
- Salesforce – Preferred
