Director of Talent Acquisition

Summary:

The Director of Talent Acquisition will drive Centura Wealth Advisory’s strategy to attract and hire the best talent in the wealth management industry. This role will focus on senior, executive, and C-suite positions while also establishing scalable recruitment processes and building a high-performing talent acquisition function. As a key partner to leadership, the Director will lead a team to deliver a world-class candidate experience, develop a robust pipeline of top industry talent, and ensure the firm’s hiring practices support its long-term growth and client service objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy with a primary focus on executive, senior, and C-suite level roles across the firm.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve recruitment processes, tools, and metrics to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing Talent Acquisition team, fostering accountability and professional growth.
  • Partner with senior leadership to anticipate hiring needs, provide market intelligence, and advise on talent strategies that support business growth.
  • Drive candidate pipeline development through direct sourcing, market mapping, and relationship-building with top talent in the wealth management industry.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of applicant tracking systems (ATS) to enhance data accuracy, reporting, and candidate experience.
  • Leverage Asana and other project management tools to track and communicate progress across multiple searches and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Deep knowledge of executive search practices and wealth management industry talent trends, with a focus on senior and C-suite roles.
  • Strong ability to design, implement, and refine recruitment processes and tools, including applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Proven relationship-building and consultative skills with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze market data, compensation benchmarks, and industry intelligence to inform hiring strategies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Asana and other project management tools to track, prioritize, and deliver on multiple searches and initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Must currently be in the wealth management space
  • 4+ years in the wealth management space
  • 7+ years of experience managing the full life cycle recruitment process in a corporate or search firm environment.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and optimizing applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Demonstrated success sourcing, evaluating, and closing senior, executive, and C-suite talent.
